Clune House has 3 Guest Bedrooms, each with its own character and named after a local feature. Our rooms are all on the upper floor, are freshly decorated and very light, airy and spacious. We’ve also equipped them with everything you’ll need for an enjoyable stay.
You’ll sleep well in our top quality beds, with cosy non-allergenic pillows and duvets to snuggle under. We’ll happily make up your bed with a sheet & blankets if you’d prefer and we have feather pillows if you’d like them instead. For those chillier nights there’s a Hottie Bottle which we’ll happily microwave for you – toasty or what?
There are reading lights to both sides of our beds, so you don’t have to annoy your companion if your book keeps you riveted into the wee hours.
All bedroom windows are fitted with a blind as well as curtains, so you can have your room as light or dark as you wish.
Each room has comfortable chairs to relax in, a dressing table with stool, light, mirror and a socket convenient for the hairdryer! Entertainment is via your flat screen Freeview TV – there’s WiFi in every room too.
We’re proud of the pictures that decorate your bedroom walls. They all mean something to us on a personal level and we hope that you’ll enjoy them too.
Everything You Need
There’s oodles of wardrobe space with loads of hangers and two cosy fleece robes, lots of drawers, shelves & cupboard space plus the small but important items such as individually controllable heating, a hairdryer, clothes brush and lovely big mugs for your tea or coffee. A mending kit is available should you need it, please just ask.
Your refreshment tray has a choice of tea, herbal tea, fruit tea, coffee & hot chocolate, not forgetting the Walkers shortbread biscuits & Scottish sparkling mineral water. There’s a big silver dish of chocolates & toffees in our Guest Lounge to tempt you too.
In your en-suite you’ll find loads of soft, fluffy towels, luxury toiletries from Scottish Fine Soaps, tissues, cotton wool balls and a shower cap. For your convenience, there is also a comfortable stool – just what you need when you’re drying between your toes.
We feel that it is only fair that we point out that our bedrooms, like the rest of the house, are non-smoking.
So, that’s an overview, why don’t you take a look at each room individually?
Creag Beag, a spacious king-size double room at the front of the house, is wonderfully light & airy, making the most of the sunshine from dawn to teatime. A Victorian fireplace gives the room some real character too.
Creag Dubh, our other front-facing large bedroom can be either a Super-king double or a twin. Again it is light & bright, catching the sunshine from early morning through to mid-afternoon.
Our 3rd bedroom, Loch Imrich, is situated in the rear wing. A roomy, yet cosy double room, it is first to catch the dawn light and the last to bid farewell to the setting sun. It is delightful.
